NYC artist creates installation for Habitat for Artists at ArtPort Kingston

July 20, 2021 in intervention, artport kingston, microresidency, habitat for artists, intervention art

Chris Costan continues her pursuit of outdoor Interventions with a project titled OF NATURE, at Habitat for Artists Micro-Residency at ArtPort Kingston.

Chris Costan’s Habitat for Artists Micro Residency will take place June 18-20. This installation is a cave-like mythical place connecting to some versions of her ongoing Interventions. It poses thoughts on human development, human behavior, and how we as a species separate from the rest of the animal kingdom. Another dimension of this Intervention project will be installed later this summer in Kingston, NY.
