interventions: Color Persona
This intervention concerns varieties of skin color found in the district of Lichtenberg in Berlin. Pigments occurring in nature dictate skin color with the existence of many gradations. I have chosen those (real or imagined) which I have noticed in the community. The surface skin colors chosen, represent the varieties of colors appearing on the exteriors of our bodies, while the body's interior colors (organs, skin, blood) are consistent through all. Twenty-five painted colors of skin appear in public locations within the district of Lichtenberg, Berlin.I used the public space to create a dialogue with the community.
Although unsanctioned by the community, a rogue act, this project was sponsored by Lichtenberg Studios Artists Residency, Berlin where I spent the month of November, 2019.

Die Farben der Persona
Ein Projekt über verschiedene Hautfarben – wirkliche oder imaginierte – in Lichtenberg, Berlin. Viele Abstufungen von Hautfarben existieren, aber die Farben des Körperinneren (der Organe, Knochen, des Blutes) sind in der gesamten Menschheit gleich.
