REELS
These Instagram reels function as quickly made works, in the manner of “sketches” They are included here, because they marry with the tabletop sculpture and the collages. All 3 of these forms of art making use a similar process, that of the mixing of bits and pieces. The reels are still in a work in progress stage, however, I am satisfied with the results and their place within the body of my work. My efforts concerning the reels and tabletop sculpture are to let go of control to a degree, where the process combines both intention and chance. These media form a trio whose origin is based on a surrealist premise.
